Building a Culture of Revolt on Campus and Beyond

Building a Culture of Revolt on Campus and Beyond

Watermargin Cooperative (map)

What does a culture of revolt look and feel like, and how might it manifest in our own lives?

Come join us at Watermargin Cooperative as we welcome Ithaca College Professor AK Thompson to Cornell's campus for a talk and discussion that will address these and other vital questions. Drawing on a rich depth of scholarship and lived experience, Thompson will discuss some of the key ideas from his most recent book "Premonitions: Selected Essays on the Culture of Revolt," and how these ideas have tied into his own life and organizing on various college campuses in North America. Students are invited to bring their own relevant questions and stories for a facilitated discussion following Thompson's talk.

This event is free and open to the public! Snacks to be provided.
